77963 - Toilet-to-Tub Sliding Transfer Bench (Long)
Great find! Easy to get my mom in the shower now. She glides right on in. No stress on her body. Made very well. Price is spendy, but worth it.
This is truly a lifesaver for my disabled wife. She can now enter and leave the bathtub without subjecting herself to another fall. It is sturdy and works great!
I’ve been using this new bench for one week and so far I’m very pleased. Seems more sturdy than my last Eagle product. I recommend this product!
Would have liked more ability to adjust length This chair is about 2 inches too long and was the shortest length available for purchase. According to measurements provided it should have been correct length.
It does not take you far enough into the tub. Legs in tub are at far inner side of tub and seat is still not quite far enough into the tub to place person completely into tub. Side of persons body is at very edge of the tub on the toilet side. This allows for a lot of water getting everywhere
Wonderful product for those who have a step over tub, but lack the mobility to step over the tub edge. It was pretty easy to set up, just make sure when you assemble that the horizontal top bars have the locking nubs on the correct side or the red locks will not work. It would have been easier if it came with assembly instructions. We also purchased the accessory handles for the seat. If you have decreased leg strength, the handles help with sitting. The glides are really smooth and very easy to move. The seat is very stable. The hole in the shower chair gives you easy access to wash all parts of the body. I would also recommend buying a new shower curtain and cutting two vertical slits to accommodate the chair rails. The slanted rubber feet allow it to sit flat if you have curved bottom edges on your bath tub. If the seat does not line up perfectly with the toilet, there is a small hole in the front of plastic chair where you can see the metal under rail while seated. I put a nail polish dot on the metal rail so that it can be visually lined up with the hole in the chair while you are seated. Works like a level dot so you know where you are in relation to the toilet.
